First entry of the year! I hope you had a great New Year’s Eve.

Miscellanea

• Started on designing my own headphones. I’m using Onshape. 3D printed a bunch of prototypes already. Hella fun. :^)

• I’m thinking of building a mechanical 7-segment display that will display the number of searches that was done in one of the apps I’ve built and update in real time. This design looks and works great but the number of magnets and coils is a bit too much for my taste. On the other hand, this one is a lot better. I’ll try to make the segments a bit more thicker.

• I don’t want to pay DiagramGPT 12 bucks a month. I’ll try to make my own diagram generator with Gemini, PlantUML and Graphviz. I’ll share the results in a separate post.

• Rock Pi is acting up again. Have to restart it every time I want to update this blog. Works fine except SSH. Can’t figure out why, yet.

• Creature Commandos is out. Watched first two episodes. It’s… okay. I’ll give it a few more episodes.

• Started watching WandaVision, not a big fan for now though. I’ll give it a few more episodes as well.

• Still haven’t finished the first season of Silo, will do that soon.
