_^12/06/2025 #### Clock Escapement  Like many others, I was fascinated when I saw JBV's clock design. I gave it my best shot at recreating the mechanism, but after 10 to 12 different designs and many iterations, I eventually gave up. I'm writing this post so that future me will see this moment of defeat—and hopefully give it another try. :^)
